Types of Post
Commercial Apprentice (CA), Traffic Apprentice (TA), Enquiry -cum- Reservation Clerk (ECRC), Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant cum typist (JAA), Senior Clerk cum typist, Sr. Time Keeper, Assistant Station Master(ASM) & Traffic Assistant.

Selection
The Selection Procedure differs from post to post. The table illustrates below the Selection Procedure for various posts.

CA, TA,ECRC, Good Guard Common Computer Based Test (CBT) Document Verification

JAA, Sr. Clerk and Sr Time Keeper Typing Tests and Document Verification

ASM & Traffic Assistant Aptitude Test and Document verification

Computer Based Test (First stage and Second stage CBT):
The Computer Based Test (CBT) consisted of objective type questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic and General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The candidates to be considered for the next stage will have to score the desired cutoff decided by RRB.

Only those candidates who will qualify the first stage CBT will appear for the second stage CBT.

The second stage CBT will be include questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The duration of 2nd stage CBT will be of 90 minutes covering 120 multiple choice objective questions.

Aptitude Test/Skill Test:
The candidates, who secure their position in the merit list of RRB NTPC Written Examination, will be called to appear for Skill Test/ Aptitude Test.
