Number Of Attempts For IIT JEE

Hello sir, after my 12th exam I’m coming for to apply for IIT JEE exam. Is there any one can tell me how many number of attempts are provided for IIT JEE?

The Joint Entrance Exam Main was scheduled to be conducted on April 3, 2016 (offline) and April 9 and 10, 2016.

Candidates may attend IIT JEE in three times.
The numbers of attempts have been increased to three.

The registration for JEE Main 2016 began on December 1 and was ending on December 31.

The JEE Main Information Bulletin clearly mentions that the number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).

This was same in case of AIEEE also.

AIEEE aspirants could give AIEEE exam for maximum of 03 times in consecutive years.

The percentages of various categories are: 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 50.5% is OPEN for all.

Number of attempts:

A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Therefore, candidates who appeared in JEE (Advanced) for the first time are also eligible.
