Exam pattern
There is no separate exam for Odisha Admissions 2017.

Candidates were required to appear for JEE Main 2016, which was of 3 hours duration.

Test paper of JEE Main 2016 (paper 1) consisted questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and all questions had equal weightage.

Here is the exam pattern-

There was only one correct response for each question out of four responses given. One-fourth marks (¼) were deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question.

Selection procedure
Candidates will be given admissions on the basis of All India Ranks calculated with the JEE Main 2017 scores and normalized marks of class XII (or equivalent exam) in the ratio 60:40.

Eligibility
Passed or appearing in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Geology/ Statistics.

The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together
