Engineering Services Examination is a combined competitive examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the services or posts of Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

The application process of exam was held from 27 September, 2017 to 23 October, 2017.

The ESE Preliminary Exam 2018 was held on 7 January, 2018 and Main Exam will be held on 1 July, 2018
