The Osmania University is admitted candidates for 3 years LLB course. The LL.B. 3-Year Degree Course is offered through semester system to the students admitted as prescribed by the Bar Council of India.

For LLB semester course candidates has to qualify at the LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year.

The candidates will be admittedly strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidates.

The Duration of the course is three academic years. Each academic year is divided into two semesters.

The two semesters in the first academic year are referred to as Semester I and Semester II, the two semesters in the second academic year are referred to as Semester III and Semester IV and the two semesters in III year are referred to as Semester V and Semester VI. Each semester shall comprise of 16 weeks of instruction.
