Osmania University Common Entrance Test (OUCET) is conducted by Osmania University for admissions into various PG, PG Diploma and 5-Year Integrated Programmes offered by Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi and Palamuru Universities.

The Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University has been successfully carrying out the gigantic task of conducting entrance tests and admissions into various courses offered by the University and its affiliating institutions since 2000-2001.

Important Dates of OU PGCET Exam 2018

OU PGCET Notification will be issued on April 2018
Online application process starts from April 2018
Last date for online application May 2018
Last date for fee payment with late fee Rs 200/ In May 2018
Last date for fee payment with late fee Rs 500/ May 2018
OU PGCET 2018 Exam date June 2018

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should have passed B. Sc. or equivalent exam with minimum 40% in the aggregate. For SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient.

One passing the Bachelor degree exam compartmentally is also eligible provided secured not less than 40% aggregate marks and a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient for SC/ST.

One who has already passed the qualifying Degree Exam is also eligible provided secured not less than 40% marks in aggregate or who has appeared for the final exam is also eligible

Age Limit
There is no age restriction for appearing for OUCET; the maximum eligible age for obtaining Fee/Scholarship reimbursement is as per the Government of Telangana State rules.
