Passing marks for a course in IP University shall be defined as the percentage of total marks .

Percentage of total marks shall not be less than 40 percent.

Grading for Percentage of marks:

50 – 54 B 6
45 – 49 C 5
40 – 44 P 4
Less than 40 or absent F 0

Calculation of Annual Grade Point Average (AGPA) and Cumulative Grade
Point Average (CGPA):

Where
Ci – number of credits for the ith course.
Gi – grade point obtained in the ith course.
Cni – number of credits of the ith course of the nth semester.
Mni – marks of the ith course of the nth semester.
Gni – grade points of the ith course of the nth semester.

Third Division.:
CGPA of 4.00 – 4.99

Second Division:
CGPA of 5.00 – 6.49

First Division:
CGPA of 6.50 or above
