PGIMER entrance exam is a national level exam conducted by Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh for admission in MDS course.

The exam is conducted for admission in 11 MDS seats in 3 programmes.

MDS courses-

Orthodontics
Pedodontia
Preventive Dentistry

PGIMER MDS exam Eligibility -

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) of Panjab University or any other University recognized by Dental Council of India

Candidates have either completed, or due to complete, compulsory rotatory internship training

Must be registered with Central /State Dental Registration Council

PGIMER MDS Exam Pattern

The test duration is 90 minutes and will be conducted in a single section

PGIMER will be pen and paper based exam

PGIMER exam will have 100 Multiple Choices Questions (MCQ), with single correct response out of four response

The exam will be conducted in English language

There will be no clinical/ practical examination
