As you asking here I am telling Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh MD/MS Entrance Exam eligibility criteria:

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must have passed MBBS, or its equivalent qualification, from a University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)

Applicants must have either completed, or due to complete, one year rotatory internship training on or before 31st December/30th June for January and July session respectively (as per Annexure-1)

Applicants must be registered with Central/State Medical Registration Council.


Fees and Dues

The following dues are payable to the Institute, by the candidates admitted to the MD/MS courses:

a) Registration Fee: Rs. 500/-

b) Tuition Fee: Rs. 250/- per annum

c) Laboratory Fee: Rs. 900/- per annum

d) Amalgamated Fund: Rs. 720/- per annum

e) Security: Rs. 1000/- (refundable only after completion of course)

f) Hostel Security: Rs. 5000/- (refundable) to be deposited with the Administrative Officer (Hostel) if hostel accommodation is allotted

Last Date for Submission of Online Applications: 30th October 2017

Last Date for Application Fee Payment : 03rd November 2017

Date of MD/MS Entrance Exam:

Theory Exam: 26th November 2017 (10.00 am at various centres in Chandigarh)

Declaration of Result: 27th November 2017 (09.00 am at Bhargava Auditorium)

1st Counselling: 15th December 2017 (11.00 am a Bhargava Auditorium)


02nd Counselling: 09th Jan 2018 (11.00 am a Bhargava Auditorium)


03rd Counselling: 19th Jan 2018 (11.00 am a Bhargava Auditorium)

04th Counselling: 27th Jan 2018 (11.00 am a Bhargava Auditorium)
