Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow invites application form for admission to Doctoral (Ph.D.) program in various branches of Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Management and Applied Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) by the Gautam Buddh Technical University (Formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University), Lucknow.

UPTU PhD Admissions-

Eligibility :

Master’s degree with first division in the appropriate field of Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy/ Management/ Architecture of the University, or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree with first division in appropriate field of Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy/ Architecture of the University, or equivalent, with two years of experience in Industry/ Research/ Teaching in reputed organization/ institution

Master’s degree with first division in the field of Biotechnology/ Bio informatics of the University, or equivalent

Master’s degree with first division in the field of Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics of a University

MCA degree of the University, or equivalent, with first division (for Computer Science & Engineering field only)

Selection Process :

Selection of candidates for provisional admission shall be made based on written test followed by interview / presentation.

PhD Admission (RATE) to various specializations of the AKTU through Research Aptitude Test. Final admission of qualified candidates will be done after interview

Application Fee :

The application fee shall be Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC candidates

Rs. 500/- for SC/ST & female candidates for all categories.
