The eligibility requirements for M.B.B.S.{Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery} program offered by Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences at a/p Loni in Ahmednagar Maharashtra are as follows:

M.B.B.S Program

One must be Indian National.

The nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport is considered as a proof of Nationality.

One must have passed qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) exam with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

One belonging to general category must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) examination. 40% marks is for backward classes Candidates.

One should be either of 17 years of age on or attain this age as on 31st December of the Academic year in which admission is sought.

One who is appearing for qualifying exam i.e. HSC (or equivalent) in February/March of the respective academic year is eligible to appear for entrance exam, however must fulfill the eligibility condition at the time of counseling.

One belonging to general category should obtain minimum 50% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission is on the basis of merit.

One belonging to backward classes should obtain minimum 40% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission is on the basis of merit.

One studied (qualifying exam) under foreign system in India, are required to obtain equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi.)

Admission Process :

Admission is on the basis of performance in the All India Entrance Test conducted by PIMS University.

Admissions is steered by Admission Committee consisting of experienced persons .

The Admission Committee is responsible for conduct of the entrance test, declaration of results and merit list, counseling and final admission to the courses.

The AICET (All India Entrance) is conducted at various places in India for selection of candidates for admission to various courses offered by the constituent colleges of PIMS University.
