To become software games developer, you’ll generally need at least a bachelor’s degree. Game development companies generally specify a degree in either computer science or a related field as a requirement.

A computer science related degree that game development companies often consider is software engineering.

So to become software games developer, earn software engineering degree or you can also enroll yourself for baccalaureate degree programs in software development or game software development.

But if you already have a degree in a science or technology field, then don’t start over again. Companies sometimes accepts electrical engineering or even physics degrees for the game developer positions
