What qualification is required to apply for Indian Statistical Service and please also get some information of exam?

I will tell you Indian Statistical Service exam qualification and further details so that you can remember easily.

Eligibility
Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee

Age Limits:
A candidate must have attained the age of Minimum 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 Maximum years.

Educational Qualifications:
Post-graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Busines Economics/Econometrics for IES

Post-Graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics for ISS

Degree should be from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or a foreign university approved by the Central Govt. from time to time.

Exam Pattern
Part I is written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks. Part II is viva-voce of such candidates as may be called by the Commission, carrying a maximum of 200 marks.

Statistics I & II are of Objective Type Questions (80 questions with maximum marks of 200 in each paper) to be attempted in 120 minutes.

Statistics III & IV are of Descriptive Type having Short Answer/Small Problems Questions (50%) and Long Answer and Comprehension problem questions (50%).
