To Become Pilot in Indian Air Force (IAF) you can join for training by appearing for either NDA or CDS exam. Graduates can join if they have NCC ‘C’ certificate. Qualifying Exam & Eligibility NDA: -NDA exam is conducted by UPSC for those students who have passed minimum 10+2 standard -The exam is conducted twice a year usually in the months of April and September. CDS: -CDS exam is also conducted by UPSC. -Graduates are eligible to appear for CDS exam. -Candidates are further selected for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT). -Combined scores are used to make the final merit list. NCC: -Graduate candidate with NCC ‘C’ certificate will be selected as regular commission officer. - Have to appear for an Interview conducted by SSB before being selected. |
