Amity University is a multi campus private research University system. Amity University, Noida is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Distance education programs by Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida campus is recognized by Distance Education Bureau (DEB). Amity Noida was accredited by the NAAC (National Accreditation and Assessment Council) with grade A in 2012. Amity University, Uttar Pradesh is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Amity University Dubai is accredited by KHDA, Government of Dubai. The Dubai campus is a branch of Amity University in India and offers UGC-recognised degrees The university received several rankings in the 2013 India Today college rankings. It was ranked in India's Top 30 universities. Its engineering school was ranked top amongst India's emerging colleges. Its BBA and LLB program were ranked #1 in India.
