Hello sir, here I came for to get job in BHEL. I want to know that which selection process is followed by BHEL for recruitment.

The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited owned by Government of India, is a power plant equipment manufacturer and operates as engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India.

Candidates interested in joining BHEL as Engineer Trainee will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

Based on the GATE Marks and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted for Interview in order of merit in the ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies in each discipline and Type of disability

The final merit list shall be prepared on the basis of 75% weightage to Written Test (GATE) Score and 25% weightage to Interview

The BHEL Test-Pattern and Selection Procedure is as follows:

Selection Process:
Company conduct recruitment process every year to select new candidates.
It can also select candidates through GATE exam.

The selection process of the company consists of 3 rounds. These rounds are as follows:
Written Exam
Technical Interview
HR Interview

Open Selection:

Qualifications: 65 per cent in the aggregate of all years/semesters
Branches: Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised Indian University/Institute in the disciplines of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic

Upper age limit 27 years for Graduates 29 years for Postgraduates

Campus Recruitment:

Qualifications: 65 per cent in the aggregate of all years/semesters.
