Revision in Interest Rates On Retail Domestic Term Deposits (Below Repees One Crore) W.E.F. 24.10.2016

Accordingly, the interest rates for Retail Domestic Term Deposits ‘Below Rupees One Crore 'have been revised

The revised interest rates are as under :

The interest rate payable to SBI Staff and SBI pensioners will be 1.00% above the applicable rate.

The rate applicable to all Senior Citizens and SBI Pensioners of age 60 years and above will be 0.50% above the rate payable for all tenors to resident Indian senior citizens

For term deposit above Rs 5.00 lacs but less than Rs 1 crore, the prepayment penalty will be 1% for all tenors.

Premature penalty for Retail Term Deposits up to Rs 5.00 lacs will be ‘NIL’ provided the deposits have remained with the bank for at least 7 days.
