Selection Process In ONGC

Hello sir, I’m preparing for ONGC exam. I want to know that which selection process is followed by ONGC. Is there any one can provide me selection process in ONGC?

The Oil & Natural Gas Corporation is Public Sector Undertakings that comes under Government of India. It has earned the status of Maharatna.

It was established in 1956 and headquartered in Dehradun, India. The main function of the company is that it is engaged in exploration & production of Oil & Gas in India & Abroad.

A selection process is followed by ONGC which is:

Selection Process:
The company conducts recruitment process every year to select new candidates.
The selection process of the company consists of 3 rounds.

These rounds are as follows:
Online Written Test (GATE)
Technical Interview
HR Interview

Academic Criteria:
60 percent throughout (Class X , XII and Graduation).
No backlogs should be there.

Selection also from GATE scores:
Candidates who have essential qualification for Graduate Trainee vacancy, they must attend Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

Final Merit List:
Final selection of ONGC Graduate Trainee Post is based on the weightage assigned to different variables, given as below.

Weightage of GATE-2016 Score 60 Marks
Interview 15 Marks
Qualification 25 Marks (20 Marks for Essential Qualification & up to 05 marks for additional in line higher qualification)

Total 100 Marks

Selection for ONGC Graduate Trainee post, candidates required to submit a valid Gate Score Card & attend Interview session after this.
