I would like to know if the Stephen F Austin University offers MBA through online mode and what is the syllabus of their MBA program?

Firstly I would like to inform you that Stephen F Austin University does not offers MBA through online mode.

The Master of Business Administration program at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU) gives advanced training in the theory and practice of management. Students are exposed to the fundamentals of business, including accounting, computer applications, economics, finance, marketing, operations, organizational behavior, quantitative methods, and strategy; specialized knowledge is available from elective courses. Both full-time and part-time students are accepted (classes are scheduled during evening hours)

Program of Study


Applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree in business, leveling courses cover the common body of business knowledge that would normally be included in an undergraduate business curriculum. This part of the degree requirements consists of the following 21 semester hours of undergraduate coursework:

FIN 333 Introduction to Financial Management
MGT 370 Management Principles
MKT 351 Principles in Marketing
MTH 220 Introduction to Probability and Statistics



All MBA candidates are required to take the "core" of the program. These courses refine business knowledge through exploration of business theories and practices and application of the knowledge to real-world situations. The core consists of the following 30 semester hours:

ECO 520 Managerial Economics
FIN 514 Advanced Financial Management

Additionally, MBA candidates must take six semester hours (2 courses) of approved business graduate electives.

At most, six hours of coursework may be transferred toward the MBA degree from an AACSB-accredited school. All requirements must be completed within six years of first enrollment in graduate courses.
