The Centre of Distance Education CDE, SNDT Women’s University was established mainly to empower women through higher education.

The CDE is offering several certificate /diploma /degree /post-graduate courses in various disciplines to thousands of girls/housewives/working women who could not complete their education, but are strongly motivated to upgrade their educational and /or professional qualifications.

Courses Offered-

Entrance Test: University Entrance Test (UET) in
Arts & Commerce
Duration - Six months
Eligibility - Age 18 yrs and above

B. A. (English, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology)
Duration - Three years
Eligibility - UET Or HSC (Arts) Pass

B. com. (Banking & Finance, Company Law, Secretarial practice & Office Administration)
Duration - Three years
Eligibility -UET or HSC (Arts) Pass

Post Graduate Programme:
M. A. (English, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Music)
Duration - Two years
Eligibility -Graduate in any Discipline
For MA English and MA Political Science Students should have degree in this discipline, for those who don’t have degree in respective subject should pass entrance test conducted by SNDT Univ.

M. Com.
M. Com. (Online)
Duration - Two years
Eligibility - B.com pass

P.G. Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Duration - 1 year
Eligibility - Graduate in any Discipline

P.G. Diploma in School Counselling
Duration - 2 year
Eligibility - Graduate in Psychology or psychology as a Subject for 200 Marks at any previous degree. In case of any other degree, she should have completed Guidance and counselling certificate course.

P.G. Diploma in Human Resource Management
Duration - 1 year
Eligibility - Graduate in any Discipline

Certificate Course in Guidance and counselling
Duration - 6 months
Eligibility - UET Or SSC Pass

Certificate Course in Basic of Diet Therapy
Duration - 1 year
Eligibility - UET Or SSC Pass

Certificate Course in Leadership for women representative of local self government Institution
Duration - 6 months
Eligibility - Age 18 yrs and above
