The College of Social Work was founded in 1955 by a band of valiant women known as Daughters of the Heart of Mary

The course of study for the degree of Master of Social Work shall be a full-time course and its duration shall be four semesters which is two academic years.
There shall be a University examination at the end of each semester.
The syllabus of the master in Social work is as follows:
