South Gujarat University Surat Conducts a Entrance test for the Admission in the Ph D program.

Paper Style of Written Test:
The 'Entrance Test' shall consist of Two papers, All the questions will be asked in the form of multiple choice types
of questions. The details are as under :

Paper – I (i) General awareness: reasoning and judgment, general knowledge Weightage of
(ii) English Language Skill: Vocabulary, word formation, Marks = 100
pronunciation, punctuation, transformation, concordance, tenses,
articles, phrases (English language only)
Paper – II Subject Knowledge(up to Master Level Course in the relevant subject)
Weight age of Marks = 100 (Language as shown in Table)

Scheme and Syllabus:
The test shall consist of the requirement of proficiency and skill in 'Research Aptitude', 'Language of
Communication' (English Language only) and the 'knowledge of the Concerned Subject'
