The Exam Pattern for UPSC is below :

It Consist Three Parts .

1. Preliminary exam .

In this Exam There are Two Papers .

1) General study
2) Optional Subject

After this Selected Candidates will Appear for Main Exam :

The Written Examination will consist of the following papers:

Qualifying Papers:

Paper : A –

(One of the Indian Language to be selected by the candidate from the Languages included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution) 300 Marks

Paper :

B English 300 Marks
