Summer Internship in IIT Jodhpur

Can you tell me in detail about the Summer Research Programme Internship in Jodhpur at IIT Jodhpur (IITJ) held in May, 2016?

The Undergraduate Research initiative (UGRI) Program at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IITJ) provided an effective platform to the students to engage in research with faculty members of the Institute.

Also, one can get a chance to develop valuable mentorship through the guidance of experienced faculty of the Institute.

Duration:
Minimum 60 days (Starts May 16, 2016)

Stipend:
A stipend of Rs 8000 per month
One had to pay the expenses of the boarding and lodging as per the institute rules

The last date to apply:
April 10, 2016.

Eligibility:
One can apply who:
1. Available for full time (in-office) internship.
2. Available for duration of 2 months (preferred, not mandatory).
3. Pursuing any degree but has relevant skills and interest.
4. Currently in any year of study or are recent graduates.

Other requirements:

One must have completed the 5th Semester of BE/B.Tech/Dual Degree or 1st Year of MSc/ MA programme.

One must have the minimum academic score 70% or a 7.5 CPI/ CGPA on a 10 point scale, and science students 65% or 7.0 CPI/CGPA.

One must not have failed any course.

Additional Information:
• Selected students had to stay on the IITJ campus for a minimum period of 60 days for being eligible to receive the certificate. One must have a health insurance valid for at-least 3 months.
