The Tourism Corporation of Gujarat and Dept. of Tourism, Government of Gujarat is set a target to train various people associated with the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industry with the aim to increase employment opportunities in the service sector.

Training will be imparted all across the state to enhance and upgrade the skills of the working persons and encourage aspirants.

Partner Institutes would be IITTM, IHM, PDPU, SCOPE and other recognised pvt Institutions.

The Training Programmes are categorised:

Training for Tourist Guides (domestic and international)
Training for people (aspiring and working) from Travel & Tourism
Training for people (aspiring and working) from Hotel & Hospitality sector
Training in different Languages (English and other Foreign Languages) and Communication

Other Programmes that are in the pipeline and will also be carried out in association with IITTM are:
Eco Guides’ Training (3 weeks)
Cab Drivers’ Training (3 days)
Training of Tourism Officials (6 days)
