Undergraduate Research initiative (UGRI) Program of IIT Jodhpur provides platform to students to connect in research with Faculty Members for a period of two months during summer.

Undergraduate Research initiative (UGRI) Program

Eligibility to apply:
Candidate must completed V Semester of B.E., B.Tech., B.Tech.-M.Tech. Dual Degree,
or
1st Year of M.Sc. or M.A. Program.

Applicants must have secured of 70% or a 7.5 CPI/CGPA on a 10 point scale,
or 65% or 7.0 CPI/CGPA.

Students may apply online they have to provide a proposal on the research.

Research proposal must provide the following information:
Abstract (maximum 250 words),
Objectives and expected outcomes,
Significant impact to the society, and
Outlines of procedures and methodologies.

Proposal should not exceed four A4 pages or 1200 words.

Financial Assistance and Accommodation
Suitable accommodations in the student hostel .

Remuneration :
Rs. 8,000 per month for two months.

(Students have to pay charges, related to their boarding and lodging as per the Institute rules)

Selection Process
Selection based on merit of the research proposal.
