Hey!!! Engineering Services Examination is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the UPSC for the civil services that meet technical and managerial functions of the Government of India.


Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification:
Candidate should have A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech) from a recognised university or equivalent. M.Sc degree or its equivalent

Age Limit:
Minimum of 21 Yrs to Maximum of 30 Yrs on 1st August of the year of the Examination

UPPER Age Relaxation

-A maximum of three years for OBC candidates

-A maximum of five years for candidates belonging to SC/ST candidates



Number of Attempts

-Four attempts for General category candidates and OBC category candidates under the Creamy layer

-Seven attempts for OBC category candidates

-To SCs/STs, No limit on the number of attempts


Nationality

- A candidate must be a citizen of India



Examination Process:

Examination Process Consists of Four stages

- Paper I (Objective type) : General Ability Test (Part A: General English) & (Part B: General Studies)

- Papers II & III (Objective type) :CE / ME / EE/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

- Papers IV & V (Conventional type):CE / ME / EE/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

- Interview : Personality Test
