UPSC will conduct the Indian Forest Services Exam for recruitment to forestry services of India.

The notification of IFS 2016 exam was released on 27 April, 2016.

The IFS 2016 Pre exam was conducted on 7 August, 2016 (CSAT) and Main Exam will conduct on 12 November, 2016

IFS Important Dates

Date of Notification: 27 April, 2016

Last Date to Apply: 27 May, 2016

Date of Exam (Prelims): 7 August, 2016 (CSAT)

IFS Main Exam: 12 November, 2016

IFS exam Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects - Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.

Age:

Your age must be between 21 years 32 years

Upper age limit is relaxable in some cases.
