The eligibility requirements for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) which is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technology University, now Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University is as follows:

UPSEE Eligibility Criteria:

The subject combination required in the qualifying exam (intermediate exam of U.P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses will be as follows-

Compulsory Subjects- Physics and Mathematics

Any one of these subjects - Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject

For admission to first year of B. Tech., one must have clearly passed intermediate exam of U. P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University.

One must have secured minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in each compulsory subject and one optional subject taken together.

UPSEE Exam Pattern:

A total of 150 questions were asked, including 50 from each subject- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Every correct answer carried 4 marks and there was no negative marking for wrong answers.
