As you Asking for the details of the CTET Examination the Details of the CTET Examination is As Follow CTET Examination is Conducted by the CBSE for the Recruitment of the Techers from the Class I to VIII Eligibility Criteria Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; or Minimum educational qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed); or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed); or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks Examination Pattern : The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s); there will be no negative marking; there will be 2 papers of CTET (i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V (ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V Duration of examination: Two-and-a-half hours Structure and Content (All Compulsory): Subjects MCQ’s Marks Child Development and Pedagogy 30 30 Language I 30 30 Language II 30 30 Mathematics 30 30 Environmental Studies: 30 30 Total 150 MCQ’s 150 Marks Paper II (for classes VI to VIII) Elementary Stage Duration of examination: Two-and-a-half hours Subjects MCQ’s Marks Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory) 30 30 Language I ( compulsory) 30 30 Language II ( compulsory) 30 30 (a) For Mathematics and Science teacher (b) For Social Studies/Social Science teacher (c) For any other teacher – either (a) or (b) 60 60 Total 150 MCQ’s 150 Marks Application Fees : For Paper-I or Paper-II (one of these): Rs.600/- (General/OBC)/ Rs.300/- (SC/ST/Diff.
