University of BDT College of Engineering, Davangere , a constituent college of Visvesvesvaraya Technological University, is committed to provide high academic standard and quality technical education at the under graduate and Post Graduate levels.

Admission is made completely through Common Entrance Test (CET) & PGCET conducted by Government of Karnataka through Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Selection is based on the merit and reservation in accordance with the policies of the Government of Karnataka. CET is generally conducted during the month of April/May of every year.

Eligibility for Admission for B.E. Courses
One must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC /12th standard or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects.

One belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for eligibility are 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying exam.
