CLAT exam is stand for:
Common Law Admission Test

CLAT entrance examination is conducted for admission to 17 of the coveted National Law Schools.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the most coveted of all the law entrances in India after Class XII.

The CLAT is conducted every year to select students for 19 National Law Universities in India, other than National Law University-Delhi and HP National Law University-Shimla, have their own process to select the students.

CLAT Eligibility
Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability).

Age:
There is no age bar for appearing in CLAT

CLAT is of two hour duration, comprising 200 questions across five different areas and is conducted online.
