Tuition Grant Eligibility
1) Students with a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification
Students (regardless of nationality) who already hold a degree or higher qualification will be eligible to receive Tuition Grant if they are offered admission into a second course of the same or lower level at Singapore's publicly-funded tertiary institutions

Singapore citizens are required to complete a Declaration for Tuition Grant Eligibility form to enable the university to assess their eligibility for the Tuition Grant.

Non-Singapore citizens, including Permanent Residents, will need to sign the Tuition Grant Agreement which requires them to work in Singapore-based companies for 3 years upon graduation.

2) Transfers within SMU or from the other publicly-funded tertiary institutions or re-admitted undergraduate students
Students (regardless of nationality) who transfer or are re-admitted within SMU or are transferred from the other publicly-funded tertiary institutions

Number of semesters of Tuition Grant eligible for new course = Maximum course duration for new course – Number of semesters of Tuition Grant received for previous course
