Writing the two essays in a short span of 30 minutes each can be a daunting exercise, more so if you’ve not written anything similar since you finished high school. As the name suggests, this GMAT Essay section is used not to determine the writing ability, but the analytical ability of the student. This is achieved through the two essay segments in this section. While one essay deal with the Analysis of an issue the other deals with the Analysis of an argument. The topics for the essays are usually pertaining to business or any general issue. The GMAT Essay Guide also forms a part of the Crack-GMAT comprehensive preparation package along with the Math and Verbal study guides and a series of 5 GMAT CAT tests.
