I have done MBA and now want to do Assistant Professor job so can you tell me the qualification required by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for Assistant Professor post?

No one shall be eligible to be appointed, promoted or designated as Professor, unless he or she possesses a Ph.D and satisfies other academic conditions, as laid down by the AICTE from time to time.

AICTE Assistant Professor Eligibility-

Engineering & Technology

BE/B.Tech & ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in
BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech.

B. Architecture

Bachelors and Masters Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent either in
Bachelors or Masters Degree

M. Architecture -

Town Planning

Bachelors and Masters Degree in Town Planning with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree

B. Pharmacy

Bachelors and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree

MCA

BE / BTech and ME / M. Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in BE/BTech or ME/ MTech ORBE/ BTech and MCA with First class or
equivalent in either BE / BTech or MCA OR MCA with first class or equivalent with two years relevant experience

Management (MBA)

First Class or equivalent in Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent and 2 years relevant Experience is desirable
