The full form of CAPF is Central Armed Police Forces and CISF is Central Industrial Security Force.

Central Armed Police Forces CAPF

The Central Industrial Security Force (C.I.S.F) is a Central Armed Police Force in India.

It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on 10 March 1969

CISF was subsequently made an armed force of the Union of India by another Act of Parliament passed on 15 June 1983.

Its current sanctioned strength is 142,526 personnel.

It is directly under the federal Ministry of Home Affairs and its headquarters are at New Delhi.

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF)

The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) refers to uniform nomenclature of five security forces in India under the authority of Ministry of Home Affairs.

They are the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Recruitment-

Recruitment is conducted mainly in three modes.

Gazetted Officers
Subordinate Officers
Constables

The recruitment of the candidates in the CAPF is done by the union public service commission as well the Sashastra Seema Bal for the various posts according to the qualification of the candidates.
