IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Details

hii sir , I wanted to take Admission into the MBA program offered by the IGNOU university ? some one tells me there is an Entrance examination called OPENMAT please provide me some details of the Examination .?

As you asking for the details of the Examination Open MAT of IGNOU University let me tell you that the OPEN MAT Examination is conducted by the IGNOU University for Admission inot the MBA and Management courses. the Examination is conducted twice in the year in the month of Feburary and August .

Syllabus :

The OPEN MAT Examination consists of the following subjects that are:
General Awareness
English Language
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning

General Awareness

Current AffairsIndia:Constitution, Government, Laws, Famous People, Achievements, Organisations, History,Geography, Economy, Politics, States.

World: Countries, Organisations, Leaders, World Economy, Summits.
Science,Industry, Trade etc.

English Language

Reading and Comprehension: You will be asked to read passages and then answer the multiple choice questions based on the passage.

Grammar: These questions would test your skills in English grammar. This section contains questions like fill in the blanks , sentence correction etc.

Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms etc.

Quantitative Aptitude

This sections tests your numerical and math skills. The most frequent topics are:

Algebra, Ratios and Proportions, LCM, HCF,

Statistics, Mean,mode,median, Permutations, combinations,

Progressions, Arithmetic Progression, Geometric Progression

Geometry, Number Systems, Trigonometry etc.
Reasoning

This section checks your reasoning skills. The commonly asked topics are:

Assertion and reasons, Assumption-Premise-Conclusion, Cause and Effect, Coding and decoding, Critical reasoning, Family tree, Statements and assumptions, Statements and conclusions, Symbol Based problems, Visual reasoning etc.

the questions are of objective type and the number of questions are 200. the dividation of the question of sections are given below:

English Language: 50 Questions

Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions

Reasoning: 70 Questions
