As you wanted to do Post graduation diploma in Life Insurance let me tell you that the duration of this diploma 2 years PGDM Master's Level Program approved by AICTE.
In This course one should learn about the necessary inputs in General Management subjects and domain knowledge in Insurance and Financial Service areas.

Eligibility
One should have the Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in any discipline (including English and Management) from a recognised university/Institute are eligible to apply.
One should also eligible that have Candidates with professional qualifications like CA, ICWAI, CS are also eligible. Those who will be appearing for their final exams are also eligible to apply.
