The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is a public university located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India.

The IIT Roorkee is located as an urban campus. IIT Roorkee college accessibility is pretty convenient as the whole city is located nearby the college.

IIT Roorkee was ranked 50 in the world and 3 in India by QS World University Rankings 2015/16 when considering "Citations per Faculty".
