The detail about the Hostel Information for UG & PG for the Academic Session 2014-15 in NIT or National Institute of Technology Durgapur is as follows:


First Year B. Tech Students
Hostel accommodation was compulsory and made available on and from 01/08/2014 to 03/08/2-14.

The students had to report between 10.00 A.M to 6.00 P.M with the following documents to the respective hostels directly:

1) Institute Admission letter with one photo copy
2) Fee Receipt of Institute and Hostel advance with Hall-11/Hall-7 one photo copy
3) Two copies of recent Colour Photograph
4) Guardian Residence Proof with Mobile No.
5) Blood Group

Boys were allotted in HALL-11 (Prof. S. Bagchi – 9434788190 / Prof. L. K. Dey
- 9434788191 / Prof. P. K. Guhathakurta - 9434788159 / Prof B. Sen-
9434788161/ Prof S. Mondal-9434789013 / Prof S. Bera - 9434788185)

Girls were allotted in HALL-7 (Prof. P. Acharjee / Prof. (Mrs.) J. Sikdar /
Prof. (Mrs.) B. Chakraborty-9434788064 / 9434788186/ 9434788065)


Second Year M. Tech Students:
Hall- 9 (Prof. S. C. Moi - 9434788062) will be allotted on 27/7/2014. Clearance from was collected from Prof. S. Pramanik and Deposit Fresh Mess Caution money Rs. 2100/- against Hall-9 for fresh allotment.


Second Year & 3rd Yr. MCA (Boys) and 2nd Yr. MBA Students
(Boys & Girls) :
Interested students could contact with Prof. S. Pramanik for Institute accommodation within 28/7/2014 positively to complete the formalities with Mess Caution money amount of Rs. 2100/- for allotment.
