TNPG is a state level entrance exam hosted by Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, and Tamil Nadu every year for candidates seeking admissions in medical degree programmes.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicant must be a citizen of India.

Applicants should have done or finishing MBBS with CRRI period in Tamil Nadu.
Applicants who have done MBBS from other state but have a residence of Tamil Nadu state are also eligible to apply for TNPG 2016 examination.

In order to apply for TNPG 2016, applicant need to have done or completing the CRRI period on or before 31st March 2016.

Candidates note down that during the time of counseling, they needs to carry a permanent Medical Council Registration Certificates.

Exam Pattern

The examination will be comprises of total 200 multiple choice objective type questions. Each right answer will be rewarded with 1 mark.

he marking scheme, 1 mark will be given to candidates for every correct response and there will be no negative marking scheme for incorrect response.
Zero marks will be provided for every incorrect response.
Language mode of the question paper will be English only.
