The state government formed the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) for conducting recruitment exams.

The organization was established on 1st April 1937 by the British government.

Selection for the posts of UPHESC assistant professor posts / Pravakta bharti will be based on through the written examination followed by personal interviews test.

Total No of vacancies: 1150

Salary:
Pay scale 15600-39100 and grade pay rs 6000

Eligibility criteria:

Minimum education qualification for assistant professor posts Post graduation degree in concerned subjects with at least 55% marks.

For Music Subject: PG with 55% marks or professional artist or Radio / TV And UGC NET exam qualified / UP SET or SLET qualified. NET / SET / SLET is one of the essential qualification for filling posts of assistant professor. Dfil / PHD award candidate will get exemption form NET under the UGC Rule 2009

Selection procedure:

Selection of the eligible candidates will be done through the written examination follower by personal interview test.

Written examination for all subjects will be held at various examination centre of uttar pradesh. All those candidates who will be declared qualified in the written examination they will be call for personal interview test.

Question paper pattern of the UPHESC written examination as are following Written examination GK : 60 Marks , Subject related question : 140 marks Interview test 30 marks
