They are the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. The preliminary will comprise of two papers: The general studies paper – This paper will carry 150 marks. CSAT Syllabus of the IPS Entrance Exam Applicants will have to prepare for all the subjects mentioned below. They must make it a point to cover all the required areas. Quantitative Aptitude Verbal Ability DI/DS Reasoning Ability General Awareness Both these papers will be of the objective category. Students can write the exam in Hindi or English.
