The candidate should have prior experience in building her/his own Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code, preferably related to multi-phase flows and/or fluid-structure interaction. A strong background in thermal-fluid engineering and numerical methods is required for this project. Any experience with parallelizing codes in MPI will be a considered to be a plus point.
