Bits and pieces means aimless or partly. It has certain other meaning like accidental, careless haphazard, pointless, random, indiscriminate, directionless, frivolous, shiftless, unavailing, drifting, thoughtless, vagrant, wandering, flighty, fanciful, fickle, in some measure, at best, at least, insufficiently, slightly, somewhat, to a certain extent, piece by piece, not entirely, carelessly, inadequately, within limits, up to a certain point etc.

It really means having no goal, not completely etc

I am 9th class student and I want to know from you all possible synonyms of idiom “BITS and Pieces”. Would you please share me its good source also?
