| shikha | Re: AIIMS Exam Eligibility Criteria The AIIMS Conducts the Entrance Examination for Admission into the MBBS Course of Its Seven Institutions the details of the Entrance Examination is given below Eligibility Indian – Candidates must be an Indian national Age : one may be Completed the 17 years of the Age Education Qualification Candidates must have passed class 12 under 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I. SC.) or an equivalent Examination of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State Examination Pattern : Single paper of 3 hours & 30 minutes durations. There will be 200 multiple choice questions. Each of the four sections namely physics, chemistry, biology will have 60 questions and 20 question from General Knowledge section. Marking scheme - 1 Mark for correct answer and negative marking of -1/3 (one third) mark for incorrect answers Syllabus of the Examination Common syllabus notified by the Medical council of India.
