shikha | Re: SSC Junior Translator Eligibility The Educational eligibility required for Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices) Post whose exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission are as follows: Educational Qualifications: For Junior Hindi Translators (CSOLs): Essential: (I) (a) Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of exam at degree level OR (b) Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of exam at degree level OR (c) Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as medium of exam and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level; And (II) Recognized Diploma or certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or Two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government Offices including Government of India Undertakings. (III) (d) Master degree of a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level Or (e) Bachelor degree with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes the term compulsory and elective) (IV) (f) Bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subject at degree level either as compulsory or optional from a recognized University or Institute plus Master degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/ Institute. OR (g) Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute plus Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional from a recognized University or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/ Institute. Desirable: Two years experience of teaching Hindi at Senior Secondary level under Central or State Governments or recognized educational Institution. |
