Well UPSC comprises of three sections Preliminary Examination which covers objective type questions, Mains which is subjective type questions and personal interview questions.

Eligibility For the UPSC Exam

Your age limit should be between 19 to 40 years.

Relaxation is also given for SC/ST candidates of 2 years as per the government norms.

Applicants should be Indian and must possess a graduation degree

Age Relaxation

General Category: 37 years

OBC: 40 years

SC/ST: 42 years

PH: 50 years

Number of attempts:

General category candidates: 6 attempts

OBC category candidates = 9

SC/ST Candidates = unlimited

Physically Disabled (Blind, Deaf, Orthopedic)

General Category: 9 attempts

OBC: 9 attempts

SC/ST: Unlimited

Physical Standards:

You must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Civil Services Examination.

Hi I have done the M.Com course now I want to know that can I apply for the UPSC exam and please tell me some detail bout the eligibility??
