| shikha | Re: IP University Seat Allotment Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) seat allotment specifies detailed procedure pertaining to the allocation of seats in GGSIPU and its participating institutes. Seat allotment to B. Tech programmes across the participating institutes of IPU CET and GGSIPU will depend on choice preferences made by the candidates during IPU CET counselling and on the candidates’ performance in IPU CET. Important points pertaining to IPU CET Seat Allotment: • IPU CET qualified candidates, who have registered for the counselling, will only be allotted seats. • IPU CET counselling process tentatively is conducted in three rounds. • One needs to first register themselves and then deposit the counselling fee which is non-refundable. • One has to confirm the seat by paying the admission or part of the admission fee. • One is required to report to the allotted college for admission and payment of rest of the fee. • If one is not satisfied with their== IPU CET seat allotment, one is free to apply for modifying choices/preferences by paying some additional fee to participate in the subsequent rounds of IPU CET counselling. • If one wants to withdraw the seats, in that case, the fee paid to the institutes is refunded after deduction of Rs.1, 000. • One, who don’t confirm the allotted seats, is not allowed by exam authority – GGSIPU to participate in the further rounds of IPU CET counselling. Factors to be considered for IPU CET Seat Allotment • Rank secured by one in the rank list • Category to which one belongs (SC/ST/ OBC/General and others) • Priority of the college as listed by one • Seat availability in the institutes |
