shikha | Re: RRB Chandigarh Assistant Loco Pilot Syllabus RRB is known as Railway Recruitment Board. RRB is responsible for every year organizing the various exams under the government of India. The RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Examination is Based on the Following Pattern Examination Pattern RRB ALPT Exam Question will be based on Objective type or Multiple Choice Question. Question will be asked from following topics displayed below. Total Marks for Examination is 120 marks. Duration of exam is 90 minutes. There will be negative marking scheme total 1 mark will be deducted for every response of wrong answer. Syllabus : Reasoning Ability (or) General Intelligence Applicants must prepare Reasoning topics thoroughly because most questions are based on reasoning type and good marks can be score. Most of the questions come from verbal sections but in some cases RRB tend to ask questions from both verbal & non- verbal sections. The topics like letter/ number/ symbol series, alphabet test, analogy, classifications (or add man out) coding decoding, finding missing number, puzzle test, Distance and direction test, Blood relations, Arithmetical Reasoning, Mathematical operations, ranking & arrangement logical diagram and non-verbal topics like reasoning pertaining to analogy, series classification will be asked. General English Candidates have to improve their communication skill in English language. Applicants must improve Grammar their rules following topic are included Articles, prepositions, spelling mistakes, fill in the blanks, common errors, Comprehension of a passage, idioms & phrases, synonyms, Antonyms, one word substitution, etc. Arithmetic or Elementary Mathematics Simplification based on four elementary operations addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction , decimal, “BODMAS” rule, LCM, HCF, percentage profit and loss Time and work, time and distance, Ratio and proportion, square and square root , cube and cube root, area and volume of geometrical figures, average, partnership, calendar, clocks etc. To some extent Algebra, set theory, trigonometry, functions relations, statistics make through in the question paper. General Awareness Syllabus Candidate must have interest in Current affairs in India must have proper knowledge about background on India its history and much more. Test paper include questions relating to history, world and Indian geography, Indian polity, Health and Physiology, Stock G.K, General Science, Current event of national and International importance computer and information technology. History: In Indian history questions usually come from ancient medieval modern and national movement. World & Indian Geography: Universe, Earth, Continents, Oceans, Rivers, Soils, Minerals Transport system, population, Forests, Agriculture etc., Current Events: Current events of previous year from the date of exams mainly the questions asked from Books and authors, chair persons of finance commission Human rights common RBI governor, Heads of States, Awards like Dadasaheb, Dhronacharya, Bharat Ratna award, Booker’ Prize, games & sports like National games, Wimbledon Olympics, Tennis etc. Polity: Making of constitution, executive, judiciary, Articles, Amendments, centre and state relations constitutional and extra constitutional commissions etc. Economy: National Income, Terminology (GDP, GNP, Inflation, Budget) unemployment, poetry, Industry, Government programmers like Bharat Nirman, Food for work, Taxes, Finance commissions, National Rural employment programmes, etc. General Science: It consists of physics, chemistry, Biology, and Zoology and Human physiology, Diseases, useful plants, useful animals and some questions from science and technology, defence, Space, Atomic energy etc. Stock General Technology: Firsts in India and world, important monuments, Boundaries, National Emblems, UNO, Awards & Honours, Defense institutions, Games and sports, Nick names, Scientific Research centers in India, famous stadiums, book & authors, Games and sports etc |
